I don't know about you, but I think eating some tasty food and helping our neighbors in need is a pretty great combo. The CRC is planning some dine and donate nights at local restaurants. Keep these three dates in mind:

October 13 - Blackwall at the Beach from 11:30-8
October 20 - Soho Slice from 11:30-8
November 10 - Stingray from 4-8

We'll send some other reminders later, but for now, mark your calendars and start thinking about cooler weather and joining us as we raise funds to feed the hungry, provide baby supplies to families in need, host the homeless in our day shelter, and prevent evictions.

Honestly, it's unbelievable how much consistent support we get from the Kiwanis Club of Coastal Delaware. In addition to a check for $1,000 for baby clothes, we recently received 552 diapers, 97 baby outfits, 48 packs of baby food, baby shampoo, and 20 baby books. And these folks could not be nicer. Pictured left to right are: Baby Pantry volunteer Mary Ann McKiernan, Kiwanis Club members Dave Thomas, President Robert Dobbs, Marilyn Kates, Laura Glenn, Stephen Schreiber, Lead Baby Pantry Volunteer Ellen Conway, and Kiwanis member Russ Koerwer. We love to see them when they visit. Thank you Kiwanis Club of Coastal Delaware!

We'll even help you hang this in your home! If you are coming to our amazing event on October 2nd be prepared for spirited bidding on this beautiful artwork by award-winning artist Steve Rogers. Steve has been:
- A signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists.
- The recipient of the 2005 Established Artist Fellowship from the Delaware Division of the Arts.
- Honored with the title "Master" in the 2015 Delaware By Hand Masters Exhibition.
- Inducted into the Delaware Maritime Hall of Fame for his work painting the ships of the Menhaden fleet.

And, simply stated, his paintings are beautiful.

Tickets for the CRC's Building Bridges event on October 2nd at King's Creek Country Club are on sale now. Head on over to https://www.rehobothcommunitycenter.org/ to purchase tickets. Proceeds help feed the hungry, prevent evictions, host the homeless, and provide baby supplies for families in need.
