Thank you Beebe healthcare for your support of our cause

Pour-On-D-Luv, a non-profit organization founded by Armin Marefat, DO, of Beebe Gastroenterology, is collecting coats for those in need at their donation center outside the Rehoboth YMCA.

Pour-On-D-Luv’s method for collecting and donating the coats is unique in that there is no middleman. Anyone who wants to donate coats can take them to the donation shed right off Rehoboth Avenue and hang them on the rack inside. Those in need also have access to the shed, and can take what they need without having to ask for help. Dr. Marefat hopes to launch additional outreach projects in the future.

“I have had this idea for a long time,” says Dr. Marefat. “I have been a Delawarean my whole life, and this community has been so loyal to me. I want to return that love and help in any way I can.”

The name for Pour-On-D-Luv was inspired by members of Dr. Marefat’s family, especially his Aunt Pouron, who embodied a spirit of altruism, his parents, and his daughter. Thank you all for being the foundation of our support as we gain momentum . The donation center has been open since Friday and doing well. Mission statement:
Our goal is to create an outreach program that betters the lives of those that are in need as well as those that are willing to contribute. Often times we try and make this progress on a global level but our idea is to reach out to those in our direct radius in order to make optimistic reverberating effects. We believe if that you can create positive outcomes in your local surroundings, and if the product of this is duplicated by those affected , the process can become exponential . As the number of people involved increases , these areas will eventually overlap which in turn comes with a realistic aspiration of eventually becoming a global phenomenon . All this requires is the willingness to assist others, a hint of altruism, and whole lot of love. If you pour on the love the beauty of your environment will consequently grow. There is never too much love, therefore our hope is to involve as many as we can in order to make the most significant genuine impact possible.

About Us
Our organization was founded to personify love and all of its effects. Through our outreach we intend to help our community in any way possible by showing the effects of love through emotion, way of life and a positive environment. Our flagship project is our “Love shack” which is a structure built in order to collect winter clothing for those in need. Our objective is to simplify the gift of giving by having a drop-off location that those in need can simply come and pick items as they please. This is the beginning of a series of outreach projects in the hope of bettering our community and developing a close relationship with each other through love.. If you are willing, all we ask is for you to donate your gently used goods , as much as your able to and take only what you absolutely require so that we can help out as many people as we can. With that being said, If you are an establishment that is interesting in placing a similar structure please contact us at [email protected]. Also, we will be accepting donations as a full non profit organization and the funds would be strictly used to fund to create similar structures and conduct further fundraising that go directly to the cause.
