Hung out with Boy Scout Troop 28 Prineville at Camp Baldwin this weekend. Went to play in the snow, but lack of snow meant plenty of other exploring, hikes, and games.

Scouting means being prepared for the unexpected and these boys made it a fun weekend, even if their plans changed.

The boys invited the Arrow of Lights from Cub Scouts pack 27 Redmond to join them to learn about Robotics a few weeks ago. Battle of the bots kept them engaged. The world of STEM in Scouting is another way to learn how teamwork and technology can be beneficial.

Troop 777 along with Cub Scouts pack 27 Redmond helped with Wreaths Across America this morning at the Redmond Cemetery, honoring our fallen heroes this Christmas season. The veteran in charge made a very impactful statement: "When we stop saying their names, they will be forgotten." Each wreath was laid with care and their name was said out loud.

Let us not forget those that gave us our freedoms, and let us remember to teach the next generation why it's important to honor those that came before us.

A great Campsgiving with Troop 777. The boys did great and the leaders were stuffed after trying all their dishes.

Scouting is fun and teaches you life skills that stick with you for the rest of your life. Learning how to cook, both at home and on a campout, is an essential life skill.
