🎨✨ In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we’re proud to share a meaningful new addition to our Redmond office.

NeighborImpact has installed a new piece of art titled “George Shima, the Potato King,” created by Los Angeles–based artist Vivian Lai. This piece tells the story of George Shima—America’s first Asian American millionaire—an immigrant who built his legacy in agriculture, with part of his story rooted right here in Central Oregon.

This piece marks the third artwork in our collection dedicated to uplifting historically overlooked communities and artists. It joins:
🖼️ “Building Our Own” by renowned artist Arvie Smith
🖼️ “Birth of a Warrior” by Apolonia Susana Santos of the Warm Springs community
