We stand in defense of abuse, neglect & slaughter bound horses, donkeys & mules. We are Safe Acres Safe Acres is a non profit organization based in Redmond, OR. Non profit #: 501(c)(3) 85-4315873. Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, retire, rehome, revive and/or rebuild the lives of animals who need someone to help them through the traumatic and often dangerous situation they are in, through no f

ault of their own. In addition, we try to incorporate youth and the community through education, volunteer opportunities, job skill training experiences and community service on behalf of the equines. Our goal is equine safety through education and involvement. Safe Acres prioritizes actively helping those who are experiencing temporary hard times and need a little help caring for their equines. Keeping horses in loving homes by offering a hand when times are tough is paramount to successful community relations and to keeping horses in their safe and loving homes and out of kill pens and slaughterhouses.

Jolene is doing so well, she has been through Foal Gentling (as a wild orphaned foal), Simple Solutions training and C**t Starting, all with Anna Twinney Holistic Horsemanship and we've gently continued her training here at Safe Acres Animal Sanctuary , today was her first riding in water lesson. I'd say that she aced her training day! She's an incredibly sound minded filly. She's on the smaller side, but will make a great trail horse for a smaller rider! Message us if you're looking for a young, green - but solidly started filly.
