RBI is hosting Covenant Community Care 🦷 MOBILE DENTAL UNIT 🦷 this week! Lots of cleanings, check ups, x-rays as well as filings and extractions. (((Ouch!))) We are grateful for their partnership and love to see our RBI family with big bright smiles 😀

Our BACK TO SCHOOL event was a blast! New backpacks filled with school supplies 🎒 face paint 🦄 ice cream 🍦 books 📚 toys 🚗 diapers and more! Our Car Care program 🚙 was busy as usual too! We had a great morning! 🌟

The Brightmoor Free Store is closed on Saturday, August 1 🛑 Our bathroom renovations are taking over the building and it’s best to just stay away! 🚧 We’ll be open next Saturday, August 8th at 8:00am‼️

Another busy and fun Saturday at the Brightmoor Free Store! 💜

We had a speaker discussing Breast Health Education which was very informative for our shoppers. 🙏

Our Car Care 🚗 program had its full crew of mechanics on hand which was amazing! 🚙
6 cars were assessed and 5 were repaired - our mechanics rock! 🔧

Detroit At Work spent the morning with us providing information and resources about employment and training! ✍🏻

…and we said goodbye 😢 to Tia who has been coming to the Brightmoor Free Store for over 10 years with her family. She’s headed to California ☀️ so we sent her home with a bag full of goodies and big hugs!!!!! 🥰

Along with a great breakfast ☕️ , shopping 🛍️ in the Free Store, Car Care 🚙 assessments and repairs, and fresh produce 🫜 out of the Community Garden, we had several visiting organizations!!

Wish I had more photos from Saturday morning but we were too busy to take them! 😅 We welcomed back Voting Access for All Coalition 🗳️(VAAC) who register people to vote and distribute information on the upcoming election. Car Care 🚙 was busy with 6 assessments and 6 repairs! Wayne Metro was with us to share tons of helpful information 📄 and resources with our clients. Our Community Garden 🍅 is starting to come alive once again! And of course the kiddos and their smiles 😊 which makes our day! 💜
