This past weekend, the Redford community had the opportunity to walk through the new community recreation center ahead of its official opening—and the excitement was palpable.

Residents were able to explore the space, get a feel for the amenities, and envision how this center will serve families, youth, seniors, and individuals looking for accessible fitness and wellness options right here in Redford.

The center officially opens tomorrow for those who purchased early memberships, with access expanding next week for later purchasers and those who are still considering joining now.

This new recreation center is a meaningful investment in:
• Community health and wellness
• Youth programming and physical activity
• Connection, movement, and belonging
• Long-term quality of life in Redford

As Revitalize Redford, we’re encouraged to see spaces created that bring people together, support healthy lifestyles, and strengthen our township.

Are you exited to see the new Recreation & Wellness Center? We're excited to show you! Join Redford Leisure Services for an official ribbon cutting on Friday, January 9th, at 4pm. Following the ribbon cutting, the new Recreation & Wellness Center will be open for tours. Join staff as we share our brand new facility! Questions about memberships or programs? We'll be there to answer them. Can't make it Friday? Don't worry, there will also be an open house on Saturday, January 10th, from 11am - 2pm.
