HOPE Coalition was honored to be featured on KIMT News 3 sharing our domestic violence memorial display. Our Outreach Manager, Melissa, joined other local advocates in highlighting the unique barriers rural survivors face.

Behind every name remembered is a life that mattered. Thank you to Violence Free Minnesota for honoring those lost to domestic violence, KIMT News 3 for sharing this important story, and the local organizations helping keep these stories visible by hosting the memorial.

Violence Free Minnesota is tracking 16 documented domestic violence homicides for 2026 with three months remaining in the year.

💜 A little shoutout for this Self-Care Sunday! 🧶✨ The Goodhue Living Crafters Club made and donated wonderful tie blankets to HOPE Coalition, bringing warmth and comfort to the people we serve. We’re so grateful for their kindness and generosity! 🥰

🌿 Self-care can also mean connecting with others and giving back! Gathering friends, coworkers, or neighbors to host a donation drive or friendraiser is a great way to build community while doing something meaningful for others. 💛

HOPE Coalition is down to our last bottle of laundry detergent for our shelter residents! 💜 If you’re out shopping this weekend, we’d be so grateful if you picked up an extra bottle to donate. Every little bit helps!

Everyday necessities like laundry detergent, paper products and cleaning supplies help make HOPE Coalition’s shelter a safe, welcoming space for survivors as they rebuild their lives.

Yesterday, HOPE staff members Melissa, Tara, and Grace had the opportunity to attend a training led by Dr. Elizabeth Jeglic, Ph.D., on Sexual Grooming: From Research to Prevention to Prosecution.

At HOPE Coalition, our advocates are committed to staying informed about emerging research, best practices, and evolving approaches in the field so we can provide the most informed, effective, and compassionate advocacy possible to the individuals and families we serve.

Starting over often means navigating many changes, especially for children. With safety, stability, and support, children like this young boy can begin to heal, adjust to new routines, and look forward to brighter futures.

Woohoo! 💜 Last night, the City of Red Wing officially proclaimed October 2026 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month!

We couldn’t be more grateful to the City Council, Mayor Iocco, and our wonderful community for standing with us and helping shine a light on domestic violence. Every conversation, every show of support, and every step toward raising awareness matters. Together, we can remind survivors that they are not alone and that our community is here for them.
