๐๐ IMPACT VOLLEYBALL โ COACH SPOTLIGHT ๐๐
Meet Coach Riley Bryngelson-known to most of Red Bluff as Riley Kittle๐๐
From wrapping up a strong 10U season to right in the thick of leading our 16U squad, Coach Riley is bringing energy, heart, and a whole lot of passion to every gym she steps into ๐
๐ Background & Passion
Coach Rileyโs volleyball journey started in middle school and carried her all the way through high school and beyondโplaying in camps, club travel teams, at Monterey Peninsula College, and even adult leagues. Her love for the game runs deep, and it shows in how she connects with her athletes every day.
As a former outside hitter and middle back, she thrives on versatility, leadership, and reading the court and she loves helping her players develop those same skills ๐๐
๐ Coaching Journey
While this is her first year as a head coach, Riley is no stranger to the court. With years of camp and clinic experience under her belt, sheโs stepped into this role ready to lead, teach, and inspire.
And sheโs doing just thatโฆ.building confidence from our youngest players all the way up to our competitive 16U athletes ๐
๐ Coaching Style & Impact
Coach Riley is all about mindset:
๐ Effort + attitude come first
๐ Play aggressive, not cautious
๐ Mistakes = growth
๐ Confidence over fear
She pushes her athletes to trust themselves, take risks, and compete with purpose. Her goal? To help every player shift from โdonโt mess upโ to โIโve got this.โ Thatโs where real growth happens ๐๐
๐ Life Outside the Gym
When sheโs not coaching, youโll find Riley enjoying life with her husband, two daughters, and a big, close-knit family (plus plenty of pets ๐พ).
Her perfect vibe? Jeep top off, cruising backroads, good music playing ๐ถ
Favorite snack? Chips and dip (always a win ๐)
Pump-up music? 90s country because confidence and good vibes beat everything ๐๐
๐ This Season
What excites her most? Getting to know each athlete, their strengths, their personalities, and their potential and watching them grow into confident players and teammates ๐
What she hopes they take away?
A true love for the game ๐๐
Weโre lucky to have Coach Riley pouring into our athletes at every level from our littles just starting out to our older girls competing hard. Her impact is already being felt, and we canโt wait to see what the rest of the season brings ๐๐
