So THANKFUL for our opportunity to share with Red Bluff Rotary about our programs! EXCITING news is coming and BIG things are in the works! ๐ซถ
๐ A huge thank you to the board members of the Red Bluff Youth Expansion for joining us at our Rotary meeting! It was wonderful to hear from Joel and Jesslyn Magana, Haley Bridwell, and Ethan Darnell about their work with our local youth.
Since 2020, this program has focused on mentoring, enhancing mental wellness and physical fitness, creating dietary awareness, and encouraging community investment. Some initiatives include:
๐ Buckyโs Basketball Academy: A platform for 600 youth to learn basketball and life skills.
๐ The Shoe Fairy Project: Delivering new shoes and essentials to kids in need.
๐ด Western Ways: Giving 4th graders an opportunity to visit a working ranch to learn aspects of rodeo and the western lifestyle, instilling responsibility and courage.
Exciting news was shared about a potential permanent home for the program! Theyโre in talks to purchase a church building thatโs currently unfinished, with help from realtor Rachel Kordzikowski and Pastor Scott Camp.
