Book signing for a local veteran author: Tuesday, May 19th, arrive at 5:30 pm, at Peanut Bar, Reading.

Looking for an evening out? Doug and Liz Graybill have been invited to Peanut Bar on Tuesday, May 19th. (Guests buy their own food, drinks and hopefully a book.)

A veteran author wrote a book and for each book sold, Veterans Making A Difference receives $1.00. They are having a book signing event on Tuesday, May 19th, at the Peanut Bar in Reading. Arrive between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
Guests should come anytime between 5:30 and 6 pm if possible, and Zane will do a reading from his first book around 6 or 6:15 pm, then follow it up with a new short story that is part of his NEXT book, which will be published this Fall and will debut during Veterans Month. The next book is also a collection of short stories, creative nonfiction, all dealing with some aspect of war (mostly the after-effects). There is a Q&A time, too.

They will be selling his books at the event, and do book signings for anyone who wants an autographed copy.

Let me know if you can attend, please, and DO invite others to sign up. We just need a headcount so the restaurant knows how big the celebratory cake should be and how much staff to have on hand that night. Can you please email your RSVP?? Thanks!
Liz Graybill

What an awesome day at the Veteran Social Center today. A group from Penske served Chicken Noodle Soup, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches and grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches (I forgot to take photos). Then we made a monetary donation to Marc J. Goldstein Blankets of Hope-Berks. Then we received a donation of Comfy Dream like a fuzzy blanket with a hood and arms. And we were able to celebrate Doug's birthday! What a great day! We are so blessed. ALL praise and glory to God.
