🐾❤️ Meet Gizmo — A Sweet Boy Who Deserves another Chance ❤️🐾

Gizmo’s story is one we wish we didn’t have to tell. He was found as a dumped stray, and thankfully, we were able to scan his microchip and trace it back to the person who originally owned him. Unfortunately, we learned that Gizmo had been given away and somehow ended up abandoned.

But despite everything he’s been through, Gizmo is still such a happy, loving boy. 🥹❤️ He doesn’t hold any grudges—he just wants to be loved and be with his people.

Gizmo is 1.5 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and good with other dogs. He is still a young guy and definitely needs some help learning his manners, but he has such a sweet personality and so much potential.

He deserves someone who will be patient with him, teach him, love him, and most importantly, never give up on him. 🏡💙

Gizmo has already been let down once. We want his next chapter to be the one where he finally gets his forever. ❤️

Meet Apollo, a 4 month old professional sock thief and expert toy collector! 🧦🐾

Apollo is a playful, happy boy who loves other dogs! He is also cat friendly, However, he can be a little too determined trying to convince the cats to play, so a cat-free home may be the best fit for him.

Apollo loves meeting new people and is always happy to tag along on an adventure! He enjoys getting out of the house and exploring places like shopping centers, outdoor dining spots, and anywhere he can make some new friends.🐾

Apollo does well in his crate as long as his foster siblings are nearby, but at night, he’d much rather be snuggled up in bed with his humans. ❤️ He’s currently working on perfecting potty training and improving his leash skills every day.

Apollo is your typical fun loving puppy who’s ready to find a family to grow up with and hopefully one with plenty of toys, adventures, and socks to steal!

🐾 Meet Emmy, 7 year old old toy poodle 🐾

She is a sweet, gentle girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She can be shy at first and is easily startled by loud noises and fast movements, so she needs a little time and patience to warm up to new people and surroundings.

Once she feels comfortable, she loves to cuddle and be close to her person.

House Training: She has not had any accidents in the house while she has been with us.

Kids: She does well with children who understand how to be calm and gentle around dogs.

Cats: She doesn’t seem to mind cats.

Other Dogs: She is okay with other dogs, but we are working on some protective behavior. She can become protective of the person whose lap she is sitting on and of her crate when she is lying inside.

Leash Walking: We are currently working on walking nicely on a leash, and she is making progress.

Life in the House: Her crate is her safe place, and right now she prefers spending a lot of time there. We are working on getting her comfortable coming out when called and exploring the house on her own. If we bring her out to sit with us, she is happy to settle in and enjoy some cuddles.

She will do best with a family who is willing to give her time, patience, and lots of love while she builds her confidence. She may take a little while to trust you, but once she does, you get to see what a loving girl she really

Bilbo (Bill) is a 5 month old Alaskan Klee Kai/maltese/Shih Tzu mix. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed and UTD on vaccines.

He is good with other dogs, cats and kids. He is a little shy at first but definitely warms up quickly. He is crate trained, working on leash training but seems to be a very quick learner. He sleeps through the night and is such a little snuggle bug. If you ever wanted a lap dog this is your guy.

❤️‍🩹 KONG UPDATE — LOOK WHO’S UP AND EXPLORING! ❤️‍🩹

He’s up on his feet and even exploring Rush Veterinary Center! Seeing him moving around and becoming more interested in his surroundings is such an incredible change from the critically ill boy who first came through their doors.

He needs to remain hospitalized while he continues to recover, and we desperately need donations to help cover his growing medical bill.

We may never know exactly what happened to Kong
But we do know this…
His future is looking brighter every single day. ❤️
