To Our YVC Seniors,

As you begin your next adventure, we want to thank you for the impact you’ve made through your service, leadership, and dedication to YVC.

You have helped strengthen our community, inspired younger volunteers, and reminded us what it means to lead with heart. We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what comes next.

While we’re saying goodbye to you as YVC members, we hope this isn’t the end of your journey with us. We look forward to welcoming you into Generation Impact and continuing to see the difference you make in our community.

Congratulations, Class of 2026—we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way♥️

1 mural. 20 countries. 350+ youth. Infinitely connected. 🌎

On April 23, dozens of middle school students gathered to celebrate cultural unity with the hundreds of young people around the world who helped bring this mural to life.

Spearheaded by Rhea Patel, VOiCEup Berks Intern, this Global Cultural Unity Mural invited youth to share their artistic expression and advocacy around what cultural unity means to them. The result? A powerful, collaborative piece reflecting voices from across the globe.

The first mural is now installed at West Reading Elementary Center, with two additional copies being installed at Wyomissing Area High School and Alvernia University.

This mural symbolizes global collaboration and celebrates diversity, especially in challenging times. Rhea hopes that everyone, from the hundreds of students who contributed, to each passerby who pauses to take it in feels the strength of cultural unity right here in Berks County. Thank you and for supporting this project!

At Some Point is officially on the road.

Two performances at Wilson High School. One shared experience.

This two-year collaboration between The Yocum Institute for Arts Education and Youth Volunteer Corps of Reading brings real stories about youth mental health to the stage—touching on su***de awareness, stigma, and what it means to speak up.

Performed by RACC theatre students, each show was followed by a talkback led by YVC Youth Mental Health Ambassadors—creating space for conversation beyond the stage.

And when it ended… it didn’t really end.

That’s the point. 💬
