Did you know that we have a large group of Adult skaters (40+) and many of us only started in the last few years!

I stepped on the ice for the first time 2 years ago at the age of 48. Scared, yes… I didn’t want to fall, I didn’t want to get hurt. Fast forward 2 years later and it’s one of my favorite things to do (and you really don’t fall). Learning new things is hard but feeling accomplished is amazing.

It is always nice to showcase the hard work and dedication that goes into this sport!!! ❣️⛸️❣️

Unsure what day it is? Ready to get out of your house but not sure what to do? Come watch Reading Figure Skating Club free show at Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex tomorrow, Saturday Jan 3rd at 4p. There will be hot chocolate to keep you warm, but do wear your cutest winter hats, gloves and coats (a blanket is also recommended, metal bleachers… need we say more?!? 😆). You will definitely be impressed with all our skaters and there are lots of great songs to bop along too!

The show is less than a week away!!! Join us Saturday January 3, 2026 from 4:00-6:00pm for a fun night of entertainment! ⛸️ Hope to see you there!!
