Berks Benefitting THON THON is a year-long effort that raises funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. That year, 39 dancer couples participated and raised $2,000.

The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, affectionately referred to as THON, is excited to have you join us in our fight to conquer childhood cancer. In 1973, a small group of dedicated Penn State students held our first Dance Marathon. Since then, THON's presence in the Penn State community has grown exponentially. THON now has 15,000 student volunteers, 700 dancers, and has raised more tha

n $100 million, benefiting Four Diamonds at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. Our weekly meetings during the Penn State Berks semester takes place in the Multi-Purpose Room on most Wednesday nights at 9:15 PM at the Penn State Berks campus in the Perkins Student Center. From the months of July-February, we are able to fundraise to help families going through Pediatric Cancer. The money we fundraise goes directly towards Four Diamonds and the families we support.

Our fundraising efforts end during THON™ Weekend, the 46 hour, no sitting, no sleeping, dance marathon. One day we will dance in celebration, but for now we dance in pursuit of a cure. 🎗️💙

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️

Pediatric Cancer has life-long effects on every patient and family. As a part of Penn State THON, we spend all year fundraising to help find a cure and hoping for the day we will dance in celebration.

This month means so much to us and our families, and it is a great time to educate ourselves and our community on how we can help and support every family we can going through this.

To help spread awareness,throughout the month we will be posting our mission as an org, our families stories, and how YOU can join the fight against pediatric cancer.
