We provide quality clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families with dignity and love.

Founded in 2005, NITP provides clothing to impoverished and homeless children and their families with dignity and love. When a clothing referral is received at NITP, a group of volunteers carefully selects a week’s worth of clothes from its inventory that are coordinated to accommodate two weeks of outfits. Since 2013, Note in the Pocket has provided clothing to over 36,000 children and families.

URGENT NEED: NEW SOCKS & UNDERWEAR

We are running low on NEW men’s, women’s, and boys’ socks and underwear!

Brand-new socks and underwear are an essential part of every Mini-Wardrobe we pack. With back-to-school season right around the corner, requests are rising daily. We need your help restocking our shelves so every student can start the school year feeling confident and ready to rise!

In 2024, the average family spent $423 on back to school clothing and shoes, and in 2025, studies showed that 1 in 10 families would go into debt, just to prepare their child for the school year. Not much has changed for families in 2026.
