Last week, our Chief Mission Delivery Officer, Jenni Danai, attended the 2026 LUNGevity Foundation Fall Science Meeting, connecting with researchers, advocates and partners who share our commitment to improving life for everyone affected by lung cancer.

Highlights included time with:

Leptomeningeal disease (LMD) occurs when cancer cells spread to the cerebrospinal fluid and the thin membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord. While uncommon, it's a possibility to be aware of for people living with any type of cancer, including lung cancer.

Symptoms may include headaches, nausea, vision or hearing changes, numbness or weakness in the arms or legs, confusion, or seizures.

Knowledge brings clarity, and clarity brings hope. Join us for an hour-long webinar presented with the Leptomeningeal Cancer Foundation, where six leading clinicians and a patient advocate will walk through what an LMD diagnosis means, with compassion for patients and loved ones alike.

What a weekend! 💙

On September 19, our Greenville community came together at H. Boyd Lee Park for the 4th Annual Greenville LUNGe Forward 5K Run, Walk & Celebration, and the turnout was nothing short of inspiring.

246 of you showed up to walk, run, and stand together in support of lung cancer research, education, and survivor programs. Together, we reached our goal and raised over $68,000! 🎉
