Juneteenth is a reminder of freedom, resilience, and the strength that carried generations forward. ✊🏾

For Black fathers, that history carries deep meaning.

Through slavery, separation, systemic barriers, and generations of hardship, Black fathers have continued to love, provide, protect, teach, and fight to stay connected to their families and children. Their presence has always mattered, even in systems that tried to erase it.

We honor that legacy today. We celebrate the fathers showing up, healing, rebuilding, and creating new paths for the next generation.

Because freedom is not just about breaking chains. It’s also about restoring families, reclaiming identity, and building futures filled with hope.

Wednesday marked the inaugural Bring Him All The Way Home Leadership Summit, and what unfolded in that room exceeded every expectation.

And thank you to every attendee who showed up ready to do the work. Workforce leaders, judges, faith communities, corrections officials, funders, and community advocates. You proved that when sectors stop operating in silos, real change becomes possible.

90% of men returning from incarceration are fathers. Their reentry doesn't end at the g*te. Yesterday, North Carolina's leadership came together to commit to going all the way.
