May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month đđ§
Today marks the beginning of May a month dedicated to raising awareness for brain cancer. But as I reflect, I realize something importantâŚ
There is a month for almost every cancer under the sun.
From breast cancer to pancreatic, childhood cancers and more each one deserves recognition, support, and awareness.
And then thereâs June Survivor Month a time to celebrate strength, resilience, and those still fighting. December often passes quietly, but the fight against cancer never stops.
Not every cancer gets the same attention. Some are talked about more than others, like breast cancer but that doesnât make the others any less real, any less painful, or any less important.
Awareness matters.
Because what we donât talk about, we donât recognize.
What we donât recognize, we may miss.
We need to know the signs.
We need to have the conversations.
We need to support all fighters, survivors, and families no matter the diagnosis.
đ Brain cancer affects thousands of families each year.
đ It does not discriminate.
đ And it deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.
This month, letâs not just wear the ribbon
Letâs share, educate, support, and uplift.
For the fighters.
For the survivors.
For the ones weâve lost.
For the ones still fighting.
