🚗❤️ **To You, It's Just an Old Car. To Someone Else, It's a New Beginning.**

That car sitting in your driveway might not mean much to you anymore.

But to a single mom trying to get to work? It could mean keeping her job.

To someone rebuilding their life after homelessness? It could mean stability.

To a family trying to break the cycle of poverty? It could mean independence.

At Wheels 4 Hope, we see more than donated vehicles. We see second chances, restored dignity, and opportunities that once seemed out of reach.

❤️ **Your old car could be someone's fresh start.**

We're a local nonprofit, and your donated vehicle helps us change lives right here in North Carolina.

🔧 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: BRUCE ANDERSON 🚗💙
This week, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Bruce Anderson, who has been sharing his time and talents with Wheels 4 Hope for an incredible eight years!
Before retiring, Bruce built his career as an IT Professional and Project Manager with IBM. These days, he’s traded technology projects for another kind of problem-solving—helping us evaluate and repair donated vehicles.
As a Wheels 4 Hope volunteer, Bruce helps evaluate donated cars, identify what they need, and make repairs so they can move one step closer to providing safe, reliable transportation for someone in our community.
And after eight years, what keeps Bruce coming back?
💬 “I have always enjoyed working on cars. This role gives me the chance to donate my time and effort to a very worthy cause, while working with a great group of people.”
That combination—a love of cars, a desire to serve, and great people to work alongside—is a big part of what makes our volunteer community so special.
Bruce, thank you for eight years of dedication to Wheels 4 Hope. The hours you’ve spent evaluating and repairing vehicles have helped turn donated cars into opportunities for our neighbors to get to work, care for their families, and move forward.
💙 Have some time, some automotive know-how—or simply a willingness to learn?
Come join Bruce and our amazing team of volunteers and help us keep changing lives, one car at a time.

Yes—we really do accept cars in any condition!

This vehicle was donated to Wheels 4 Hope on Thursday. Whether a donated car can be repaired and placed with a recipient or is simply too costly to repair, it can still generate critical support for our mission.

Running or not, damaged or worn out, your unwanted vehicle can help Wheels 4 Hope provide reliable transportation and greater opportunity to North Carolina families.

Before you scrap it, trade it or let it continue sitting—contact us!

🚗❤️ **One Donated Car. A Whole New Beginning.**

Think about everything you do in a day that depends on having a car.

Getting to work. Taking your children to school. Making it to a doctor's appointment. Picking up groceries.

Now imagine trying to do all of that without reliable transportation.

For many of our neighbors, that's their everyday reality.

At Wheels 4 Hope, we believe transportation shouldn't be the roadblock standing between someone and a better future.

Thanks to generous vehicle donors, dedicated volunteers, and community partners, we've helped put more than 3,500 vehicles into the hands of people working toward greater independence.

And every donated car has the potential to create another success story. ❤️

🚗 What happens when you donate a car to Wheels 4 Hope? Meet Bill, one of the people who helps turn your donation into a fresh start.

Part of our team since 2011, our shop foreman Bill manages the shop, coordinates and trains our dedicated volunteers, and repairs vehicles himself. Together, they evaluate donated cars and get suitable vehicles safe and road-ready for their next owners.

Behind every repair is a purpose: helping someone get to work, care for their family and build a more stable future. 💙

Even cars too costly to repair make a difference—their sale proceeds help fund our mission.

Have a vehicle you no longer need? We accept cars in any condition, running or not, with free pickup and towing throughout North Carolina.

🔧 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: ROB GREENBERG 🔧
Meet Rob Greenberg, one of our faithful volunteers at Wheels 4 Hope in Greensboro!
A retired engineer, Rob joined the Wheels 4 Hope volunteer team in 2025 and has been putting his skills and problem-solving experience to work ever since.
Rain or shine, cold or hot, Rob shows up ready to work! You’ll find him in the shop helping repair donated vehicles and making sure they’re safe and reliable for the individuals and families referred to our program.
Volunteers like Rob are an essential part of our mission. Every hour spent under the hood helps us turn a donated car into something much bigger: reliable transportation to work and a pathway toward self-sufficiency.

That moment when the mechanic gives you a repair estimate and you think… “This car just isn’t worth fixing.”
Before you call the junkyard or let it sit in the driveway, consider another option.
Donate it to Wheels 4 Hope.
Your vehicle doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference. Vehicles that can be economically repaired may become reliable transportation for local individuals and families working toward self-sufficiency. Others can still provide valuable support for our mission.

🔑 No longer worth fixing?

A car is more than a way to get from Point A to Point B. 🚗

For the families we serve, reliable transportation can mean:

💼 Getting to work on time
👧 Getting children to school and childcare
🩺 Making it to medical appointments
🛒 Buying groceries without relying on rides
❤️ Becoming more independent and building a more stable future

At Wheels 4 Hope, donated cars become opportunities.

When you donate a vehicle, you aren't simply getting rid of a car you no longer need—you could be helping a local family take an important step toward self-sufficiency.

Your old car can change someone's life.
