Dress for Success Day was a fantastic experience for our young people! They arrived dressed in their best professional attire, ready to learn how to make a great first impression. Throughout the day, they gained valuable tips on dressing for interviews, presenting themselves confidently, and understanding professional behavior. Everyone looked sharp and walked away with the skills to succeed in future career opportunities. 💎💎💎

Our students recently teamed up to tackle a broken iPhone screen. Through collaboration and problem-solving, they learned each step of the repair process—from carefully removing the damaged screen to installing the new screen. Amazing teamwork and tech skills on display!

🌸 Spring Challenge Success! 🌸

Our young people from AMIkids Gadsden and Tallahassee showed up and showed out at our exciting Spring Challenge! Due to unfortunate weather, we had to conduct all of the activities inside but our young didn’t let this stop them from doing their best. They made the necessary adjustments to make this challenge a success!💪🏽✨

From sharpening their minds in the Spelling Bee and Academic Quiz Bowl, to demonstrating strength and skill in the Standing Broad Jump and Rope Tying Challenge, they gave it their all in every event.

Beyond the competition, everyone enjoyed great fellowship and delicious food, making the day even more memorable! 🍽️

We are incredibly proud of their effort, teamwork, and positive energy. Events like this continue to build confidence, leadership, and lifelong skills. 🌟

Two of our young men conducted service learning at Quality Discount Meats, where they assisted with stocking. They were able to gain hands on experience.

For our culinary activity, our young people engaged in preparing homemade burgers and fries. They assisted staff with prepping, cooking, serving, and cleaning. They were all able to gain hands on experience.

My name is A. Williams,

Since being in AMIkids, I have learned how to control my emotions and think before I react. I have also learned how to take responsibility for my actions and make better choices. One of my favorite parts of the program is the staff. They listen to me, encourage me, and never make me feel judged. They really care and want to see me do better.

I would recommend AMIkids to other youth because it truly helps. I believe the State of Florida should continue funding this program so more kids can have the same chance I did to improve their lives, both at home and at school.
