Set up a camping tent inside your warmest room - human bodies produce 330 BTU/hour each. 2-3 people in an enclosed tent can raise temperature 15-20°F warmer than the room. Add blankets OVER the tent for extra insulation.
This saved families during the 2021 Texas freeze. Your body becomes the heater. No power needed.

🇺🇸 Not everyone gets to go home for Christmas 🇺🇸

While many gather around warm tables, wrapped gifts, and familiar laughter, there are those who sit far from home, wearing uniforms instead of sweaters, sharing a quiet meal with fellow service members who understand the same sacrifice.

Christmas looks different for them.
It carries a different kind of weight.
A mix of duty, loneliness, pride, and strength.

They miss their families.
They miss the simple things.
But they stay, so others can celebrate in peace 🇺🇸

This season, as the lights glow and the carols play, let us pause and remember those who serve while the rest of us are home.

Your sacrifice does not go unseen.
Your service is not forgotten.
And your place in our hearts is always set at the table 🇺🇸

Jamesly Jesse was only 2 years old when he lost his family in the 2010 Haiti earthquake and miraculously survived five days buried under rubble. He was later adopted by orthopedic volunteer Mary Jesse and her husband Nathan, finding a new beginning in Moweaqua, IL. Now 16, Jamesly has raised $35,000 to provide 100,000 meals to the hospital that saved his life — a powerful act of gratitude that earned him the 2025 National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award. 🏅❤️🙌
