Let us pray 🙏🏼 for our community

: Students, teachers and the community are mourning the loss of a local youth who passed away in a car accident on Sunday.

Questa High School officials say grief counselors and support will be available at school tomorrow, August 31 to support students and teachers.

Additionally, in a separate incident, law enforcement received a tip of a potential threat to the school. Police investigated and the threat was unfounded. Out of an abundance of caution, law enforcement will be present at the school tomorrow, August 31.

We extend our sincerest condolences to all who are grieving the loss of the young lady who passed away.

Grief is everywhere, but it often goes unseen. National Grief Awareness Day, August 30, is an opportunity to better understand grief—and to remember the people around us who may still be carrying the pain of loss long after others have moved on.
Grief doesn’t follow a predictable timeline. It looks different for every person, and even from one day to the next. A grieving friend may need someone to listen, remember an important date, say their loved one’s name, or simply continue showing up.
And if you’re the one grieving, you don’t have to rush your healing or carry your grief alone. God sees your sorrow and draws near to you in it.
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” —Psalm 34:18

Our first Journey Together adventure took us to the breathtaking Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument! 🥾⛰️🙏🏼

What an incredible day of exploring God’s creation, building community, and discovering His beauty all around us.

The landscapes were absolutely stunning—and the trail was definitely a challenge! But every step, climb, and breathtaking view was well worth the effort.

As we walked among these remarkable rock formations, we lifted our worship to the Ancient of Days, surrounded by the magnificent expression of His creativity.

“Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad…” — Psalm 96:11
