One of the park's Dendrobium orchids is in bloom! This variety seems to be the most dependable orchid in Nature Park - mounted in a tree and given little attention.

New birdhouse on the park's east side built by John Iredale! Hoping for a bluebird but any bird is welcome to nest here! Green Thumb volunteers Jerry & Lori Larson installed it and John Kraybill and Jensen positioned the protective stones at the base..

Help Harbor Environmental Center clear out its plant inventory! CHEC will host an End-of-Season Blowout Plant Sale on Saturday, May 2nd, from 9 am to 1 pm. There will be a beautiful selection of native and Florida-friendly plants for purchase at their lowest price! For plants as little as $1, these prices can't be beat! The goal is to find a good home for each plant just in time for the summer rain. Be sure to stop by to grab your plants that are sure to beautify your space, support pollinators, and your local environmental center!
