St Vincent de Paul offers assistance with food, clothing, housewares, furniture and limited financial assistance. 100% all volunteer agency.

You may help by making a donation of food, or cash if you are unable to do the grocery shopping. "The Society has two aims: to do a great deal of spiritual good to its members through the exercise of charity, and to do a little spiritual and temporal good to a few poor families in the name of Jesus Christ. If it did not continually seek to combine these two aims, it would lose its raison d'etre. If it were to seek only the holiness of its members through pious exercises, there is no lack of Confraternities and Third Orders to meet that need. If on the other hand, it were to seek only the relief of the temporal miseries of the poor, it would only add one more to the list of public and private institutions founded for that purpose."

You never know what you'll find, that's the whole point. 😊
Our shelves are always changing, which means every visit is a little different. Come see what's waiting for you and know that every purchase goes right back into helping neighbors in need.

Your gently used items have more life in them than you think.
A lamp that no longer fits your living room. A jacket hanging in the back of the closet. A set of dishes you replaced years ago.
One drop-off can make a real difference for a neighbor in need.

Every neighbor matters. Every act of kindness counts.
At St. Vincent de Paul Punta Gorda, we believe no one should face a crisis without somewhere to turn. Thank you to everyone who helps make that possible through donations, volunteering, and showing up for your community.

Before the holidays sneak up on you, now is a great time to clear out what you don't need.
Christmas décor. Household items. Clothing. Kitchenware. If it's sitting in a closet unused, we'd love to give it a second life and a second purpose.
Drop off your donations and help support neighbors in need right here in Charlotte County.
