The Arrow of Light — the highest rank in Cub Scouts and the only badge that carries forward onto a Boy Scout uniform.

This spring we had the incredible privilege of watching our 4th graders earn this honor and cross the bridge into Scouts BSA as incoming 5th graders. These young men and women didn't just show up — they worked for years to get to this moment. Every meeting, every campout, every service project, every adventure built toward this bridge crossing.

The Arrow of Light is not given. It is earned. And these Scouts earned every single step. We could not be more proud. ⚜️

Before you can cross the bridge, you have to earn your way there.

At our annual Bridging Ceremony this spring, we took a moment to recognize the Scouts who completed their final adventure requirements — because in Cub Scouts, nothing is handed to you. Every badge, every pin, every adventure is earned through real effort, real learning and real growth.

Watching these kids step forward to receive their last awards before crossing into their new rank was one of those quietly powerful moments that reminds every parent in the room exactly why they signed their child up for Scouting.

One of our favorite things about this pack is watching what happens when families come together outdoors.

The group activities, the shared meals, the kids who arrived as strangers and left as best friends; a campout has a way of bringing people together that no meeting room ever could. This spring reminded us exactly why we make family camping a cornerstone of what we do.

And the good news? We're doing it all again this September! 🏕️ Whether your family are seasoned campers or have never pitched a tent before — there is always room around our campfire. Fall camping details coming soon!

Everything tastes better outdoors — but s'mores around a campfire? That's on another level entirely. 🔥

After a full day of hiking, exploring and playing our Pack 9331 families gathered around picnic tables and campfires to refuel — sloppy joes, chips and fruit. And then came the s'mores. Watching the kids crowd around the fire pit with marshmallow sticks extended, parents crouching alongside them, that little girl beaming from ear to ear with her perfectly toasted marshmallow — that right there is a Scouting memory that lasts a lifetime.

It all starts with pitching the tent! 🏕️

There is something really special about watching a family work together to set up camp — the laughter when the poles go the wrong way, the kids who want to help but mostly just get in the way in the most adorable fashion, and that proud moment when the tent finally stands and your little home in the woods is ready.

Our Scout flag flying over the spring treetops said it perfectly — Pack 9331 was home for the weekend.

Campfire skits — a Scouting tradition as old as Scouting itself!

As the sun went down and the fire crackled, our Scouts did what Scouts have done for generations — they got up in front of their pack, gave it everything they had, and made everyone laugh in the best possible way.

Were they polished performances? Absolutely not. Were they hilarious, brave and completely wonderful? One hundred percent yes. Watching these kids push through their nerves and take the stage with pure Scout spirit was honestly one of the highlights of the whole weekend.

When the trail called, our Scouts answered — and Minnesota delivered!

Our May Spring family campout included an afternoon hike that took us along the lake, through the spring woods and right up to some of the most magnificent trees any of us had ever seen. Watching the kids try to wrap their arms around a massive trunk; realizing they couldn't even come close was one of those quiet moments that reminds you how small we are and how big and beautiful this world is.

Muddy shoes, curious eyes and zero complaints. This is what outdoor Scouting looks like!

There is a moment at every campout when the kids disappear into the woods and come back with the biggest smiles you have ever seen.

This spring our pack families headed out for our annual family campout this time at Noresland Scout Camp. What unfolded was exactly what Scouting is meant to be! Kids climbing fallen trees, building stick tripods with lanterns in the dusky woods, going full throttle in the Gaga ball pit — completely in their element, completely unplugged, completely alive.

This is what happens when you take kids outside and give them space to just BE kids. No screens, no schedules, just pure childhood adventure in the Minnesota woods.
