Tonight is the night!

Our Cub Scout Open House is happening this evening and we invite you to come by to check it out. Bring the kids, come as you are, and spend some time seeing what Cub Scouts looks like from the inside.

Talk with leaders about what Cub Scouts do, answer your questions, share what our year looks like and show try some fun activities. No paperwork, no pressure — just a fun evening for families who are curious.

Tomorrow night is your chance to come see what Cub Scouts is really all about.

The Prior Lake and Savage Cub Scout packs are hosting a community Open House tomorrow evening and we would love to see your family there. Come meet our leaders, watch some of the things our Scouts actually do, ask every question you have, try out the inflatable archery range, and find the right fit for your child.

No commitment required. Just come and see.

Kindergarten through 5th grade, boys and girls welcome. If your child has been curious about Scouting — or if you have been curious on their behalf, tomorrow night is the perfect place to start.

Two nights. Two groups. One incredible experience.
This spring our Scouts had the privilege of a behind the scenes tour of the MSP Airport Fire Station — and the experience was so popular it took two separate evenings to give every family the access they deserved. Kindergartners through Webelos, all getting up close with equipment most adults never see in their lifetime, learning from professionals who protect one of the busiest airports in the country, and walking away with stories they are still telling.
This is what a regular month looks like in Pack 9331.
Not a field trip. Not a school project. Just a Tuesday evening with your Cub Scout pack — doing something that most kids in this community will never get the chance to do.

These are the moments nobody expects when they sign their kid up for Cub Scouts.
Standing in front of the full MSP Airport map while a firefighter explains how they get around the massive grounds. Learning how the airboat works from the person whose job it is to deploy it. Getting all their questions, serious and crazy, answered by the men and women whose full-time job it is to protecting one of the busiest airports in the country
The MSP Airport Fire Station team was extraordinary with our Scouts — patient, enthusiastic and genuinely invested in making the evening unforgettable. You could see it in how close the kids leaned in. How many hands went up. How nobody wanted to leave.
This is Scouting. Doors opened. Minds lit up. Kids discovering a world they never knew existed, and coming home different because of it.

Go ahead. Sit in the seat.
That is what the MSP Airport Fire Station team told our Scouts — and not a single one of them needed to be asked twice. Up the steps, into the cab, hands on a steering wheel bigger than their whole torso, grinning like they had just been handed the keys to the best thing they had ever seen in their lives.
Because honestly? They kind of had.
This is the kind of evening that a kid talks about for weeks. The kind that makes them walk into school the next morning with a story nobody else has. The kind that makes a parent think WOW Scouting has opened up so many opportunities for us.

Watch this.
During our behind the scenes tour of the MSP Airport Fire Station, the team got the call that a plane was going to be refueling on the tarmac; which means standard protocol requires this airport crash truck to be stationed nearby. No emergency, just a regular part of keeping one of the busiest airports in the country safe every single day.
And our Scouts got to watch it roll out from just a few feet away.
That is the thing about this tour that really stuck with us — this isn't dramatic movie stuff. This is the quiet, professional, around the clock work that happens at MSP that most people never think about and almost nobody ever gets to see up close. Our Scouts did.

This spring our Cub Scouts got a behind the scenes tour of the MSP Airport Fire Station; and moments like this one tell you everything you need to know about what made it so special. Airport fire trucks are unlike anything most people ever get to see up close, let alone stand next to. Our Scouts didn't just see it from a distance — they got right up to it, climbed on it, and learned what it takes to protect one of the busiest airports in the country.
This is the kind of experience that stays with a kid. And it happened on a regular Monday evening with Pack9331.
