Friends of Wolf Ridge

The pride felt in navigating through the woods with a compass to track animal prints…the exhilaration of reaching the top of the rock-climbing wall…the sense of wonder at starting a fire with only flint and steel in a Native American village…These are just a few defining moments of the annual fifth-grade trip to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center. To keep the tradition of Wolf Ridge alive for future generations of fifth-graders, a group has been formed, “The Friends of Wolf Ridge Committee”. Our goal is to raise funds on a long-term basis by applying for various grant monies and seeking other donor sources, but financial support is needed in the short term as well. To donate to “Friends of Wolf Ridge” make your check payable to L.E.F. (Laker Educational Foundation) and write “For Wolf Ridge” in the memo space. If applicable, please include your employer’s matching gift. Thank you for your generous support.
