Hello Prior Lake Pickleball Club members,

We have an update to share about the PLPC Board. This year, four positions on the board are open, and we are pleased to report that four members have stepped forward as candidates to fill them. With four candidates and four openings, we will not need to run an election, as the board has unanimously supported the candidates.

First, a big thank you to Greg Gee and Vic Noer for their many years of dedicated service to the club. Their time, energy, and support have helped make PLPC what it is today, and we are grateful for everything they have contributed.

We are also excited to welcome back Chris Picard and Bruce Erickson, who have each agreed to serve another term. As most of you know, Chris has spent the past two years on the board and has organized and run the PLPC Summer and Winter Ladders. Bruce has also served on the board for the past two years, most recently as Treasurer, where he has managed the club's finances and the filing requirements that come with our non-profit status.

Finally, please join us in welcoming two new members to the board, Krishna Tondapu and Alex Racha.

Krishna brings more than 20 years of professional experience in technology and architecture, with a background in strategic planning, collaboration, and bringing people together toward common goals. He hopes to strengthen communication with members, encourage participation across all skill levels, and help the club plan for future growth, while keeping PLPC welcoming to longtime members and newcomers alike.

Alex has been a member and active player at PLPC for two years and has lived in the Shakopee community for 23 years. He has always enjoyed being involved in his community and is looking forward to helping the club grow, trying new things, and keeping pickleball fun for everyone.

Thank you to all four candidates for volunteering their time, and thank you to all of our members for making this such a great club.

🏆👑 PLPC King & Queen Tournament 2026! 👑🏆

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to play in the PLPC King & Queen Tournament and then stayed afterward to grill, hang out, and enjoy some time together!

It’s always great to see our pickleball community grow—new friendships being made, new rivalries being created, and plenty of fun along the way!

Congratulations to our 2026 King & Queen! 👑👑 You earned it!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make the event such a great one. Stay tuned for future events!

This morning the Prior Lake Rotary Club distributed funds to all the non-profit organizations that volunteered at music fest 2026!
Thank you to all the Prior Lake pickleball members and friends that took the time to volunteer!!! Together, we raised $5,828 for our club!

Please consider volunteering next year for this fun event!!!

FALL/WINTER Monday LADDER Transition
New PLPC Monday Night DUPR Ladder coming Sept 21st to Pickle in the Middle
As the days get shorter, we have decided to move the Monday Ladder inside to Pickle in the Middle, Lakeville.
The cost is $14 single date or $72 for Full 6-week event. We will renew every 6 weeks.
This is DUPR verified with a rating of 3.4-4.1. If you have participated in the PLPC Ladder and scored a score of 130 or higher you may also qualify for the equivalent of play if your DUPR rating does not fall within the 3.4-4.1 range.

DUPR Requirements:
Your DUPR account must be connected to Courtreserve in order to register. If you do not have DUPR ID and qualify with the 130 or higher, please register for a DUPR and contact us to register you, 763-888-7731.

New Monday Night Indoor Ladder!

We’re excited to announce another first for the Prior Lake Pickleball Club! After launching our first Monday outdoor ladder this summer, we’re keeping Monday nights going this fall with our first-ever indoor Monday Night DUPR Ladder League. This is our first ladder league at Pickle in the Middle!

The league is geared toward 3.4–4.1 DUPR players and will use a similar competitive ladder format many of you already know and enjoy.

When: Starts September 21 at 7:00 PM. The league will run in 6 week blocks. You can signup for 1 week or for all 6 at a reduced rate.

Men's and Women's Doubles Tournament
Club Members only
Sunday, August 9, 2026 - 8:00am-6:00pm - No Rain Date

Registration Open: 07/28/26 at 4:00pm

Registration Closes: 08/07/26 at noon


This is a pool play and single elimination bracket tourney for men's doubles and women's doubles teams only. Pool Play: 1 game to 11, win by 1. Bracket Play: 1 game to 15, win by 1. This may change depending on registration numbers...I may change the elimination bracket play to "win by 2."


There will be 4 levels of play. Max of 8 teams per level per gender. May combine levels, depending on number of registrations. Specific times TBD.

Levels ( self rated) and approx. times:
3.75-4.0+ 8:00am
3.5-3.75 10:30am
3.25-3.5 1:00pm
3.0-3.25 3:30pm
