Men's and Women's Doubles Tournament

Sunday, August 9, 2026 - 8:00am-6:00pm - No Rain Date

Registration Open: 07/28/26 at 4:00pm

Registration Closes: 08/07/26 at noon


This is a pool play and single elimination bracket tourney for men's doubles and women's doubles teams only. Pool Play: 1 game to 11, win by 1. Bracket Play: 1 game to 15, win by 1. This may change depending on registration numbers...I may change the elimination bracket play to "win by 2."


There will be 4 levels of play. Max of 8 teams per level per gender. May combine levels, depending on number of registrations. Specific times TBD.

3.75-4.0+ 8:00am
3.5-3.75 10:30am
3.25-3.5 1:00pm
3.0-3.25 3:30pm

Board Terms Are Expiring.

We have 4 board seats up for election this year. Each spot is for a 2-year term on the board. Since we are a volunteer organization, we rely solely on the membership to fill the needs of the Club.

Make a difference. This is your chance to be a part of the decision-making process that will determine the direction of our Club for the next few years!

Commitment. Being a board member does involve some time, primarily for monthly meetings and projects that the board develops to fulfill our mission of fostering pickleball in the Prior Lake area.

Requirements. PLPC membership, enthusiastic, motivated, team-oriented. We are looking to recruit members with good organizational skills who want to see our Club thrive.

We are proud of what has been accomplished by the Prior Lake Pickleball Club and its volunteers. The Club can only exist if a handful of people step up to help run it. We have over 430 members; we're looking for 4 people. The "let someone else do it" mentality is not an option if this Club is to continue. Please consider being a part of the future of our Club by running for the board or offering your skills to support the operation of our Club.

We plan to finalize the 2026 Club Board Election Ballot by the end of August. If you are interested in serving on the board or have questions, please contact us at [email protected] no later than this Friday, August 28th. The new board members will start their terms on October 1st, 2026.

Please mark your calendar for the 6th Annual Burger and Beer Bash . It’s September 19th at the VFW from 5-8 .

First - Pat is still looking for donations . Check with people that you work with or friends , that would donate . You can copy the brochure and the 501 tax thing to give to them .

Second - for this to be a successful event , Pat needs volunteers to help out the evening of the event .

PLPC GroupMe/TeamReach
Prior Lake Pickleball Club Members,
As part of our ongoing technology refresh, the Prior Lake Pickleball Club will be transitioning our club communications from GroupMe to TeamReach.
Over the next several weeks, we'll begin using TeamReach as our primary communication platform. While GroupMe will continue to work for a short period during the transition, we encourage everyone to join TeamReach as soon as possible so you don't miss any club updates.
Why are we making the change?
TeamReach provides several advantages that better support our growing club:

Better event coordination – Easily share events, reminders, and announcements in one place.
Simple file and photo sharing – Club documents, schedules, and photos are easier to find when you need them.
