The Danish Flyver Ruck March

Mission Accomplished! 🇺🇸

The AUSA Southern Virginia Chapter was proud to support this morning’s Danish Ruck March and the Army Sustainment University (ASU) community!

More than 250 Soldiers and Army Civilians participated, representing the Captain’s Career Course, Basic Officer Leader Course, ASU permanent party, Kenner Army Health Clinic, Quartermaster permanent party, and the 92Y Advanced Leader Course (ALC).

It was an outstanding morning of teamwork, endurance, camaraderie, and Army spirit. Events like this bring our military and civilian community together while challenging everyone to push a little farther.

AUSA Southern Virginia is proud to support our Soldiers, Army Civilians, and the Fort Lee community!

Supporting Our Soldiers at Fort Lee

The Southern Virginia Chapter of AUSA proudly held its 2nd Chapter Luncheon in support of the Soldiers and leaders of Fort Lee.

We are once again grateful to Zito’s, our favorite luncheon sponsor, for their continued support of the Southern Virginia Chapter and our commitment to serving our military community.

This luncheon brought together Soldiers and civilians in support of CSM \(Ret\.\) Abernathy’s leadership and speaking engagements, providing an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and strengthen the bond between our military and civilian communities.

Speaker Engagement Highlight

The Southern Virginia Chapter AUSA was honored to host an outstanding speaker engagement with CSM (Ret.) Abernethy!

A huge thank you to CSM (Ret.) Abernethy for taking the time to spend the day with 270 AIT Soldiers and 90 ALC NCOs. Your experience, leadership, and willingness to invest in these “young” Soldiers and NCOs made a tremendous impact.

We received a lot of positive feedback from both the students and instructors, and it’s clear that your message was well received. Don’t be surprised if we ask you to come back again in the future!

We truly appreciate you taking the time to engage with our Soldiers and NCOs and helping make this event a great success. We also sent the event pictures this morning—hopefully you can put some of them to good use.

Richmond NASCAR Volunteer Event

A huge thank you to our Southern Virginia Chapter AUSA volunteers who helped make the Richmond NASCAR event a tremendous success!

Special recognition to our NCOIC, SFC Campos, for coordinating 75 Soldiers and Chapter members and helping ensure everything came together smoothly.

This event was an outstanding opportunity for the Southern Virginia Chapter and AUSA to gain national exposure while proudly showcasing the incredible Soldiers and Marines of our Fort Lee community. Our volunteers represented the Army, AUSA, and our local community with professionalism and pride.

We are proud of everyone who volunteered and helped make this event a great success for our Chapter and the community. HOOAH! 🇺🇸
