🦅🐾A heartfelt THANK YOU to Marshall Jenkins and Troop 902 for choosing Prince George County Animal Services for such a meaningful Eagle Scout Project! 🦅🐾

We are incredibly grateful for the time, hard work, and generosity that went into this project. The generosity and effort put into this project resulted in a huge donation of much-needed supplies for our shelter animals. Every item will help us provide better care and a little extra comfort to the dogs and cats waiting for their forever homes. ❤️🐱🐶

Community support like this means so much to us. Thank you, Marshall and everyone who helped make this project possible, for putting your time, talent, and heart into helping the animals in our care. We are incredibly thankful to have such amazing young leaders giving back to their community! 🐾

Aug 11th COH was Scouting around the World brought to you by Scoutmaster Brandon as part of a diversity ticket for Wood Badge. 🌎 Troop 902 helped him out, each scout chose a country to talk about scouting and prepared a dish from that country. A great time was had and 38 awards and 4 rank advancements earned! 👏🏼

Last week we had 2 Scouts from 902 attend the Buckskin Leadership Experience. These scouts learned leadership skills, communication, team building games, knots & lashings to build things at outpost, cooking all while using patrol method. They won’t say they had an amazing time but that Buckskin was an investment, and they will put what they learned back into Troop 902. They stayed busy from 6 am until 11pm all week long.

Troop 902 had a blast last night at their meeting with a little cook off! The food wasn’t terrible and some interesting choices were made but everyone had so much fun, including the leaders! 🧑‍🍳👨‍🍳 🍜🍛🍽️🥣 The scouts did a great job with presentation of their dishes.
