Join us on June 9th from 9AM–1PM for an engaging workshop featuring Marie Hansen and David Tripp from WPI. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of The County Federal Credit Union, tickets are just $49 per person.

Change is a part of every workplace—but it can be stressful and hard to manage. This workshop helps participants understand why people resist change and how to respond with confidence and clarity. Congratulations to Timber Candle Bar and Boutique on taking First Place at the Regional Top Gun Finale last night! 🔥

We love seeing local entrepreneurs continue to grow, innovate, and strengthen our community through bold ideas and hard work.

Congratulations as well to all of the entrepreneurs who also shared their pitch. The passion, creativity, and innovation growing here in The County is something truly special. Moments like this remind us that big ideas can thrive in small towns, and that entrepreneurship here is alive and growing.

We can’t wait to cheer Timber Candle Bar & Boutique on at the Top Gun Summit in Portland! 👏

Aroostook County Tourism (ACT), the destination marketing organization for northern Maine as designated by the Maine Office of Tourism, invites tourism partners, business owners, and community leaders to attend the 2026 Aroostook County Tourism Summit on May 13, 2026, at Hidden Spring Winery.

The Aroostook County Tourism Summit serves as the region’s pinnacle gathering for the tourism industry. The summit brings together statewide and local decision-makers to share knowledge, review current trends, and shape the future of tourism in Aroostook County.

Deputy Director of the Maine Office of Tourism Hannah Collins, who will present newly released visitation data for Aroostook County and Maine. Her participation reflects the strong connection between state-level tourism leadership and the work being done in Aroostook County. The data highlights Aroostook as the only
region in Maine to experience growth in overnight visitation, with a 16.5% increase over last year. This performance underscores the region’s tremendous growth as a destination and the result of adjusted branding and marketing in recent years.

The summit will feature a full day of programming focused on key sectors driving visitation and economic impact across the region. Sessions will explore cultural tourism, including the Loring Air Museum, current trail development initiatives led by the Outdoor Sports Institute, and the growth of bird watching as a travel motivator. Attendees will also hear an overview of Aroostook County Tourism’s current marketing plan and participate in a hands-on workshop focused on the business of agritourism taught by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.

All are invited and registration is free. Let’s all work together to grow visitation to Maine’s Aroostook County.

Registration is open. Interested participants can learn more and secure their spot by visiting the event page:
