When: May 14th, 2026, 10-11 A.M.

What: Hear directly from Maine's Secretary of State, MePCSW Commissioners, and MePCSW staff about the work and goals of the commission. Ask questions and weigh in on the most important issues facing women and girls in Maine. We want to hear from you!

🎶 Mainely Girls' Last Friday Open Mic 🎶

This month, we’re switching things up a bit…

We’re going UNPLUGGED 🔌✨

Instead of a traditional open mic setup, this will be more of a community jam—bring your voice, your instrument, your creativity, and let’s make some music together in a more relaxed, collaborative vibe.

All skill levels welcome. Whether you want to lead a song, join in, or just soak it all up, there’s a place for you here.

This is Clare. She is on our board of directors and she comes to the Open Mic to play her banjo/guitar at almost every open mic! She is also facilitating an ongoing Improv Workshop at the Gauvin Cultural Arts Center at UMPI on Sundays!
We love Clare, and Her VOICE! we love all our musicians and supporters who show up once a month at the ”Last Friday Open Mic“ ~ at the PI Community Center on Chapman Street, 6~9! Yes, won’t you, tonight! 🎶
