With summer on its way, we'll be seeing more motorcycles on the road. Here's a friendly reminder for cyclists to use signals when needed and other motorists to watch for signals and maintain a safe distance.

Communication on the road is essential. Riders and cyclists use hand signals to indicate turns, stops, and hazards, especially if lights fail. Among bikers, two fingers pointed toward the road is the traditional “biker wave,” meaning “keep two wheels on the ground” and wishing fellow riders a safe journey. Know these signals, stay alert, and always prioritize safety while riding and driving.
