None of this happens alone.

VerTerra and Eco-Products are covering the compostable serviceware. Nuun and Skinny Dipped shared product. Hudson Valley Eats and Connect HV made the videos.

Twenty businesses across the valley gave something to the silent auction - a weekend at Omega Institute, a night at Hemlock Neversink, bespoke jewerly, signed Dan Pelosi cookbooks (yes, he is a food angel), a wine tasting at Millbrook Winery, and more.

And our sponsors backed this before a single ticket sold: Bottini Fuel, Farms2Tables, Prime Print Shop, CDPHP, Tompkins Bank and Trust, Williams Lumber & Home Center, Viscount Wines & Liquors, American Trucks, and the Dunn Family.

Their support is why every ticket dollar goes straight to food access, farmer training, and school gardens.

Here's where it came from.

Tiny Greens Farm is finishing every plate in the room. Chaseholm's cheese is in two dishes, Nightingale Farms peaches in the cocktails, Sugar Shack's mushrooms are on the toast, Ardith Mae's chevre is with them on top of Rising Above Bread. Hudson Valley Fresh supplied the milk and cream, Flora Food Group the butter, Pogliani Select the oil and balsamic, Community Food Works the grain, Bittman's to show you how good flour, water, salt, and time can taste. Plus others because we are incredibly lucky.

And almost all of the vegetables came out of our own fields this month.

That's what a regenerative farm dinner actually means to PFP: a supply chain you could drive in an afternoon!

Here’s who’s feeding you Sunday.

Twelve stations and you eat and drink at all of them. Corwin Kave is coming down from Deer Mountain Inn. Little Goat from Rhinebeck, Rosie General from Kingston, Dan Kish from Hunt & Harvest, Chris Follari running the whole thing.

Almost everything on those plates came out of our fields this month, or off a farm you could drive to this afternoon.

Sunday, August 30. 4-7pm at the Scenic Hudson Northside Hub. Link in bio.

The moment you've been waiting for (...I think, buy your tickets please!). The menu is set. Thirteen stations, one afternoon, and a whole lot of produce that came out of our fields this month. Incredible drink options and a sweet treat from Skinny Dipped included in your ticket!

A grazing board from Chef Chris Follari with our vegetables, Bittman's bread, and Cabot cheese. King crab over Chaseholm mac and cheese. Green tomato gazpacho. Ratatouille from Oui Oui. Puffed pastry with za'atar. And vanilla gelato with Sicilian olive oil and fennel pollen to finish.

Every plate supports food access, farmer training, and school garden programs right here in Poughkeepsie.

Sunday, August 30, 4-7pm at the Scenic Hudson Northside Hub. Tickets $160, link in bio.

UPCOMING VOLUNTEER SHIFTS IN AUG & SEPT.
All are welcome to come for partial shifts or even a combo below! Bring yourself, a friend or even a large group.
•Wed & Fri 8-12 Carrot Weeding
•Wed & Fri 9-12 Gab & Garlic
•Saturday Sept 19 from 9-12

This week on the farm:
30 volunteers joined us in the fields or under the tent! They w**ded carrots(big Saturday crew on the last slide) and we also started our annual, highly anticipated Gab & Garlic. The 20-person Saturday crew were ALL returning volunteers. It made Farmer Maddie’s heart sing to see all the familiar faces come together in this combination for the first time. They got to tend to the land, this familiar space that has fed us all and changed so much. There were great conversations and a lot of gratitude shared.

MORE ON CARROT WEEDING
We made a big dent this week and there is still plenty left to do. Our fall carrots need you! Carrots require a high level of continual devotion to keep them strong enough to outcompete the many wild plants surrounding them. Come out to the field for an hour(or 3 or 4!) and give them a leg up in ensuring a bountiful fall harvest!

MORE ON GARLIC CLEANING
Gab & Garlic is a seated shift out of the sun. We use clippers and scissors to clean up the garlic and prepare it for long term storage and fall planting. It’s a very farm-y time pulling from a long tradition of processing the harvest together, catching up with friends/meeting new ones, and preparing for the next stage of the growing cycle.

SIGN UP TODAY AND BRING A FRIEND
You know that friend you’ve been meaning to grab lunch with or that neighbor you want to know better? Bring them along so you can catch up while making a big impact with your favorite local farm. We are always welcoming new faces to all shifts.

08/20/2026

THIS SATURDAY MORNING 8/22 from 9-12 we are looking for 12 more individuals to come out and w**d the carrot with us! Stay for an hour, 2 hours or the whole shabang.

Our fall succession of carrots is at that perfect balance of wild plants (aka w**ds) at the same height as the precious carrots we all know and love. Help us ensure a bountiful harvest by making space for these babies!

This shift requires gentle touch as well as crouching and kneeling. We are happy to bring beginners up to speed. In fact, Farmer Maddie’s favorite part of working with volunteers is when folks try something new with us! (And of course the many, many faces that join us year after year, too)

This is a very worthwhile, impactful task and also requires MANY hands so spread the word with your networks. Bring a friend or group or come solo and meet fellow nature lovers! This is open to the public and we encourage new faces to join us.
