A blast from the past! 🪨🌿

A few years ago, the Jolly Rovers Trail Crew built these beautiful stone steps in the Hudson Valley near New Paltz. Harvesting the stones was no easy task and neither was transporting them across a busy bike trail!

Hard work, teamwork, and a whole lot of craftsmanship went into every step. A great reminder of what a dedicated trail crew can accomplish. 💪🥾

What a fruitful weekend! 🌲🥾⛺️
We spent the weekend giving back to the trails, getting our hands dirty with some good work, enjoying the simplicity of camping, and sharing plenty of laughs around the fire.

There’s something special about working side by side, exploring the outdoors, and building friendships along the way. Grateful for the people, the trails, and the memories made this weekend. ❤️

Before and after trail work with the Jolly Rovers Trail Crew. And with the collaboration of the NY/NJ trail conference 🌲🛠️ We built new stone steps using rock harvested right from the surrounding area, creating a durable trail feature that blends naturally into the landscape.

It's rewarding to see the transformation and know these improvements will help protect the trail for years to come. Thanks to everyone who came out and put in the hard work! 💪🥾

Move over, Rosie the Riveter…the Jolly Rover Trail Crew ladies have Pulaskis, rock bars, and enough grit to make a mountain think twice.

The women of the WWII WASP program proved they could fly anything. The Jolly Rover ladies prove they can fix just about anything a trail throws at them. Big ROCKS? Bring it. The CRUSH challenge ? No problem. Stone Stubbornness ? Challenge accepted.

Different era. Same determination. Same willingness to do the tough jobs that make a difference.

Here's to the women who keep blazing trails—literally.
