2 Cats at the vet today 😄🐈⬛❤️ 5/4/26
My vet worked with me on lowering the price for an ultrasound for Bella. No cancer thankfully but she does have Inflammatory Bowel Disease issues, so steroids are going to be the best option. So she got a steroid injection and an antibiotic injection and in 2 weeks we'll start an every other day oral steroid.
Nemo, I have no idea how this happened without me noticing but 2 of her claws were digging into her paw pads- in case of possible bleeding I opted for the vet to take care of them. Too much could've gone wrong if I attempted to cut the nails away from the pads, and I have no supplies here at home to handle a bleed. So now I just have to keep a close eye on her claws and trim them regularly.
I haven't ever cut my Cats nails because I never needed to, this never happened out of all the Cats throughout my life...
I like them to have their full claws for ripping apart my furniture 😄 but mostly for maneuverability and climbing- hopefully cut nails won't interfere with that.
