Nemo had her vet appointment. Same deal as last time, ear meds and antibiotic injection.
I forgot to post last receipt, so both are here.

Nemos ears are flaring and she's scratching like crazy and shaking her head. She will need the vet on Friday at 1:30pm to get more meds because I can't afford another $500 hematoma surgery on the other ear. I hate having to triage Cats for who needs to be seen by the vet more urgently but it's the way it is for now.

Cats are enjoying the AC even though they're it feels like they're not cooling the house... maybe it's just me. Or maybe this heat is so intense lately that people can barely notice AC's working. Fall, you can't get here soon enough!

I had to reschedule Precious's appointment today. I have $200 set aside and the $40 in Donations. I need at least $350 to walk through those doors. Appointment is $90, Labs are going to be $200+ and if any medications are needed that's $25+ depending on treatment. So for now, I have to wait until I get at least $100 more.
He's eating and drinking everyday, so I'm going to keep monitoring him daily. I will reschedule once I have enough.
Prayers are Appreciated for him. ♥️

Update- Precious is scheduled for 8/6/26 at 9 am. Visit will most likely need bloodwork so any Help Is Very Appreciated ❤️

Let's Pray it goes well. ❤️ He is so loving you, would never know that he used to be feral. I TNR'd him years ago and thought while I had him in the house healing, maybe I'd try and de-feral him. He was always on the porch and though he was so scared of humans I just felt like he was an indoor cat that unfortunately was born outside. It took me about a full year gaining his trust and showing him there's nothing to be afraid of ❤️ he's been a lap Cat ever since. And Nemo- her and him had an instant bond, love at first sight 😄🐈‍⬛❤️
They are always together, so i Pray he is ok and it's all just the aging process. Losing vision scares me though, I think of diabetes right away, but it could definitely just be age.

2 Cats at the vet today 😄🐈‍⬛❤️ 5/4/26

My vet worked with me on lowering the price for an ultrasound for Bella. No cancer thankfully but she does have Inflammatory Bowel Disease issues, so steroids are going to be the best option. So she got a steroid injection and an antibiotic injection and in 2 weeks we'll start an every other day oral steroid.

Nemo, I have no idea how this happened without me noticing but 2 of her claws were digging into her paw pads- in case of possible bleeding I opted for the vet to take care of them. Too much could've gone wrong if I attempted to cut the nails away from the pads, and I have no supplies here at home to handle a bleed. So now I just have to keep a close eye on her claws and trim them regularly.

I haven't ever cut my Cats nails because I never needed to, this never happened out of all the Cats throughout my life...
I like them to have their full claws for ripping apart my furniture 😄 but mostly for maneuverability and climbing- hopefully cut nails won't interfere with that.
