Saturday morning we hosted our Grand Marshal Breakfast at The Stadium Bar and Pottsville Zone. During the program, we proudly congratulated this year’s Grand Marshals, Daniel and Lorraine Koury, grandchildren of Leo F. Haley. It was a special moment to celebrate Leo’s lasting legacy and the tradition they continue to carry on, 50 years after the very first parade!

We also recognized our past Grand Marshals and thanked our parade committee members for their dedication and hard work in making this milestone year so special.

It was a wonderful morning spent with friends, family, neighbors, and members of our community. A special thank you to the Schuylkill County Commissioners for joining in the celebration by recognizing Leo’s lasting impact and the tradition that has continued through the decades. 🍀💚

It is certainly fitting that the 50th St. Patrick’s Day parade in Pottsville was dedicated to Leo F. Haley.

For more than 50 years, he was one of the pre-eminent Irish voices in Schuylkill County.

Here's a look at the parade route for today's 50th anniversary of the Leo F. Haley St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Pottsville.
START (12th & Market Sts.) east on Market ➡ 2nd St. to Mahantongo St. ➡ Mahantogo St. to Centre St. ➡ Center St. north toward Laurel Blvd.
Today's parade gets underway at noon.

Last night we held our Irish Heritage Leprechaun Crawl! Thank you to the local businesses who hosted, the presenters who shared their knowledge and talent, and of course everyone who came out to support our very first event. We truly appreciate it! 🍀

The celebration continues today with 8AM Mass at Church of St. Patrick, followed by the 8:30AM Grand Marshal Breakfast at The Stadium Bar and Pottsville Zone, and then the highlight of the weekend—our 50th Anniversary Parade kicking off at noon in downtown Pottsville. We hope to see you there! 🧡
