Thank you to the City of Pottsville including the Bureau of Police and the Department of Streets for making sure Laurel Blvd was ready for race day. Also special shoutout to Tropp Contracting for fixing the potholes so the racers had smooth driving on race day!!

The Pottsville Area Soap Box Derby would like to take this time to say thank you, thank you to everyone who made the 2026 Pottsville Area Soap Box Derby a success!! First I would like to thank our fundraiser committee as always they do a fantastic job raising funds to hold the race and everyone who supports the fundraisers without you the soap box derby would not be possible. To our main contributors including M&T Bank, Fanelli Evans & Patel Injury Lawyers, Womer’s Garage, Inc. thank you!!! To the countless volunteers who spent over a month helping get the cars ready and weighing in the racers for race day, thank you for giving up time with your family for us it means the world to us. To those who did behind the scenes work prepping the concession stands, making more kick boards and painting them, assembling the new finish line and so much more thank you so much!! To the racers and families who helped on race day thank you, the concession stand workers, the individuals who helped at the top and bottom of the hill in every way possible, the truck drivers, the flag girls, and every supporter thank you for being there to cheer on the racers!! We can not wait to celebrate 50 years in 2027!!
