At Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity, we believe everyone deserves a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. As a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we partner with hardworking families, volunteers, businesses, faith communities, and generous supporters to create affordable homeownership opportunities across southeastern New Hampshire. Our partner families earn a hand up, not a handout. They invest hundreds of hours of sweat equity and purchase their homes with an affordable, no-interest mortgage. Every mortgage payment is reinvested to help more local families achieve the dream of homeownership. Beyond building homes, our Community Toolbox (CTB) Program helps seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent by providing critical home repairs and accessibility improvements, including ramps, grab bars, and other essential safety modifications. Our mission is also powered by the SENH Habitat ReStore, located at 29 Fox Run Road in Newington. The ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, home improvement materials, and building supplies, then sells them to the public at 30–80% below retail prices. Every donation, purchase, and volunteer hour directly supports affordable homeownership and critical home repair programs in our community.
