Hospice Help Foundation provides financial assistance to terminally ill individuals under the care of hospice and to their families. Our support helps bring about a better quality of life and increased emotional comfort at the end of life. The Foundation is a means for patients and families with financial need to cope with end-of-life issues that occur beyond the usual scope of hospice services. T

Meet Peaches, the robotic comfort cat who never left Jeanne's side.

Jeanne lived with dementia, and her sole remaining family member was too frail and lived too far away to visit often. Her hospice team requested funding to purchase Peaches, a robotic cat specifically designed to ease loneliness and calm anxiety. Donors like you covered the $120 cost of bringing Peaches home, where she quickly became a steady and soothing presence in Jeanne’s arms.

Many people picture hospice as a building you go to. In reality, a lot of hospice care happens exactly where patients want to be: in the comfort of home, with members of the hospice team coming to you.

Hospice services are provided wherever your home is - home, assisted living facility, a friend's house, or a nursing home.

It was a raucous morning at the nursing home, because Gail turned another year older, and she doesn't do anything quietly. Her family gathered to celebrate the way Gail always celebrated: with dancing, bold outfits, a little chaos.

You can help families in some of their hardest moments, offering comfort, dignity, and stability when it matters most. Include HHF in your will or estate plan, and creating a legacy of comfort and peace.
Two easy ways to do it:
🔹 Name HHF as a beneficiary in your will, trust, or life insurance policy
🔹 Designate HHF as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or donor-advised fund
Many people do this in consultation with their attorney, or through a free online service like FreeWill.

Hospice supports far more than one diagnosis.

While cancer is common among hospice patients, so are Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, heart disease, and many other terminal conditions. If you or someone you love has received a life-limiting diagnosis, it's worth a conversation to find out whether hospice could help. Anyone can ask for a free hospice evaluation (no referral from a doctor is required).

A conversation, and often a visit, can help you find out if it's time. There's no harm in asking.

Meet Joyce and her friend Judi, who made a butterfly garden come to life.

Joyce lived in a nursing home far from family, and as a result didn’t receive many visitors. When Judi, her hospice volunteer, learned that Joyce had always wanted to visit a butterfly garden, she sprang into action. With donated tickets and a $168 grant from HHF to cover transportation, the two set off on a beautiful adventure. 🦋

**Hospice looks different from most healthcare you've experienced.**
Yes, hospice includes medical care: doctors, nurses, LNAs, symptom management, and coverage of some medications & supplies. But unlike most medical care, hospice takes a holistic approach and treats emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing as equally important. That’s why hospice teams also include counselors, chaplains, social workers, and bereavement support.
That’s what makes it so special: a whole team is centered around one person's comfort.
