Hospice Help Foundation provides financial assistance to terminally ill individuals under the care of hospice and to their families. Our support helps bring about a better quality of life and increased emotional comfort at the end of life. The Foundation is a means for patients and families with financial need to cope with end-of-life issues that occur beyond the usual scope of hospice services. T

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor those who sacrificed so much for our freedom.
Did you know that 1 in 4 deaths in America is a Veteran? Generous donors like you make it possible to ease burdens, restore dignity, and bring peace to these heroes during unimaginably difficult times.

We all know what it feels like to carry a heavy burden. But imagine carrying that weight during the most vulnerable time of your life: watching someone you love enter their final chapter.

Thanks to our generous donors, one family didn't have to face that alone. When their electricity was at risk of being cut off, donors stepped in immediately. They paid the outstanding balance and literally kept the lights on during those precious final days.

What does it take to be a hospice nurse? More than most people realize. 💙
Hospice nurses manage pain and complex symptoms with precision and care, guide families through what to expect and how to help, collaborate with social workers, chaplains, and aides as part of a full care team, and bring a calm, compassionate presence to some of the most tender moments a family will ever experience.
It takes a special kind of person to do this work and to keep showing up for it with skill and heart, day after day.

When people find their calling, the impact is immeasurable. During National Nurses Month, we honor Kathryn Thornton, who was one of those people.

Kathryn discovered her true passion when she became a hospice nurse. She inspired everyone around her with her daily dedication to her patients' comfort, peace, and quality of life.

She believed deeply in the work of Hospice Help Foundation, because she saw firsthand the difference it made for those in her care.

Now, the Kathryn Thornton Legacy Fund carries that mission forward, supporting hospice patients who need comfort and compassion the most.

Hospice nurses bring a rare combination of clinical expertise and deep human compassion to their work every single day. They manage complex symptoms and sit with families in some of their hardest moments. And they do it with a grace that is extraordinary.
