Our JCDPC/PAST Recovery Services team recently spent an all-staff day at Kings Island this weekend! A day intentionally set aside to have fun, recharge, build relationships, and connect with coworkers outside of our normal work environment.
Our staff supports youth, individuals in recovery, families, and communities across East Central Indiana every day. That work can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be demanding. Creating opportunities for our team to step away from the day-to-day responsibilities and simply enjoy time together is an important part of building a healthy, connected, and resilient organization.
There were plenty of roller coasters, laughs, good food, conversations, and memories made. And maybe a few people who discovered which coworkers they should never sit beside on a roller coaster! 😂
We are incredibly grateful to IYI for recognizing that supporting those who serve others matters. Investments in staff well-being, connection, and belonging ultimately strengthen the work we can do in our communities.
