The Role:
As a Forensic Peer, you’ll serve as a bridge between recovery and the legal system, offering mentorship and advocacy to those currently in the Delaware County Jail system.

⚠️ Important Requirement: Due to specific security center requirements this position must be filled by a male candidate.

You can get in on the chance to win by purchasing raffle tickets at great prices: they are $1 per piece, 6 tickets for $5, or 20 tickets for $10. Losing someone special to a battle with substance use disorder or su***de leaves a void that can feel isolating. We want to acknowledge that pain and celebrate the lives that were lost.

Last year, we started a very special program called Unmasking the Stigma, and we're bringing it back for our upcoming Masquerade Ball. This is a chance for us to publicly share the faces of those we miss, to show that their lives are not forgotten, and to actively fight the stigma associated with these types of loss.

If you have a friend or family member you would like to honor, please submit a photo along with the completed media release form to [email protected]. We would be so honored to include them in the tribute the night of the ball. Every face tells a story.

So thrilled to share some wonderful news! This morning at the Red Ribbon Breakfast, the Delaware County Prevention Council awarded a mini-grant to our Delaware Co. IRACS program!

This grant is a major help, allowing us to provide much-needed resources like hygiene products and cover essential travel expenses for our participants. We are so grateful for this support in helping us serve our community!

We're asking for your help to make our upcoming trick-or-treat events a huge success! We need candy donations to ensure we have plenty of treats to hand out to all the kids in our community.

You can drop your donations off at the office, located at 100 N Meridian St in Portland, or you can simply hand a bag off to any Jay Co. JCDPC employee you see.
