But one day is never enough! Stop by the library tomorrow for more Halloween fun! Our wonderful librarians will be dressed in costumes tomorrow, and will be handing out candy at the library during Safe Trick or Treat. Trust us, you don't want to miss this!

We are excited for this fun event coming on Thursday, Sept. 10, to the Portales Public Library. Do you love history? Consider learning a little about a favorite character from United States history, putting together a costume, and joining us for the evening. We are inviting our historical characters to be stationed throughout the library for an informal meet and greet, then we'll all head to the meeting room for ice cream sandwiches. Spread the word...and join us! Open to all ages, with or without costumes. 😁
