What do you look forward to in your year of service: I look forward to working with the officer team and other Alumni members to continue strengthening our Alumni!

What was your favorite FFA event: My favorite FFA event was National Convention!

What do you do outside of the Alumni: Outside of the alumni, I own and operate Henke Lawn and Snow. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends!

We have started tilling and soon to be planting the field! We are excited to watch everything grow throughout the summer. A huge thank you to everyone helping make this project possible through your time, support, and hard work!

Position: Public Relations

What do you look forward to in your year of Service: I most look forward to making connections within FFA and being able to give back to an amazing organization that gave so much to me!

What was your favorite FFA Event: My favorite FFA Event was LDEs I loved competing in them and know I love being able to be a Judge for them!

What do you do outside of the Alumni: Outside the Alumni I am a Junior at the University of Wisconsin Platteville majoring in Agriculture Education! On campus I am involved in Sigma Alpha were I am the Co Fellowship Chair,Ag Ed Society President, Collegiate๏ฟผ Farm Bureau Vice President,Block and Bridle Sponsorship Chair,and a Ag Ambassador! Back at home I am 2026 Marquette County Fair Intern and Swine Superintendent and for Columbia County I serve on the Fair board as the Fairest of the Coordinator and Superintendent of Clover Buds!On the side I run my own baking business called Izzyโ€™s Sweets Treats! In my free time I love to hang out with Family and Friends!

Portage FFA Alumni is looking for volunteers to help work the Marquette County Fair Food Stand on Friday, July 17th!

This is a great way to support our FFA members, give back to the community, and have some fun at the fair. We need help with taking orders, preparing food, and general stand support. No experience needed!

What do you look forward to in your year of Service: Iโ€™m excited to serve as your FFA Alumni Secretary this year. Iโ€™m looking forward to getting more people involved in the alumni to support our FFA members.

What was your favorite FFA Event: Day on the Farm!

What do you do outside of the Alumni: Outside of alumni, Iโ€™m about to graduate and earn my RN, and will be working in the emergency room. In my free time, I love spending time with my boyfriend and our two dogs, Re*****on and Nitro, who love anything outside.

What do you look forward to in your year of Service: Iโ€™m looking forward to helping out the Portage FFA as much as possible this year. Iโ€™m also looking forward to doing this alongside some of my besties!

What was your favorite FFA Event: Leadership Development Events.

What do you do outside of the Alumni: Outside of the alumni, I run and own Web Avenue Nutrition in Reessberg, WI. I also enjoy spending time with my husband outdoors, playing any sort of strategy, board game, card game, anything like that, and then Iโ€™m looking forward to the arrival of our baby this summer!

In the next few weeks, we will be introducing the 2026-2027 Portage FFA Alumni Officer Team, starting with Emily McReath!๐ŸŽ‰

Position: President

What do you look forward to in your year of Service: I am looking forward to seeing what the Alumni will become, meeting new people, and seeing more involvement in the community, and hopefully reaching more participants to be active members.

What was your favorite FFA Event: My favorite FFA event was LDE, in which I chose to do prepared public speaking. It further developed my public speaking skills, along with allowing me the opportunity to speak at the State FFA Convention. It got me out of my comfort zone.

What do you do outside of the Alumni: Outside of the Alumni, I work in the emergency department as an EMT. I just finished six years of service with the Army National Guard as a combat medic. I also enjoy being in the outdoors, working, and growing my plants!
