The QPR Training on Friday, October 16th, at 1:30 PM is open to all community members! Join us in the PHS Auditorium to listen to Jeff Ditzenberger share his story and how he helps recognize and support those struggling with mental health. When arriving at Portage High School, please enter through Door 39, to the right of the main entrance, as it is under construction.

Today, Portage FFA had 25 members attend FIRE Conference in Marshfield! This conference helps members in grades 5-9 learn about the basics of FFA, SAE projects, connect with other members, and meet the state officers.

Socktober has officially started! This is a community drive where all socks will be donated to Reedsburg Area Helping Hands. Find a Socktober bin at all the locations listed in the image below and donate some socks! This drive gives Portage FFA a great opportunity to give back to our community! Socktober ends October 28th.

Next Gen: Animal Systems Conference | Kansas City, MO 🐄

Last week, Avery participated in a week-long conference emphasizing careers in the Animal Industry.

Avery connected with many animal agriculture industry professionals, participated in roundtable discussions with industry leaders, toured Smithfield Foods, Cargill, and the American Royal, and gained firsthand insight into careers in the animal agriculture industry.

Avery was one of 75 FFA members from across the country selected from a pool of nearly 300 applicants. Congratulations, Avery 💙💛

Yesterday, we had 47 members travel to Waupun for the Section 6 Fall Leadership Workshop hosted by the WI FFA Officer Team! These members attended many workshops that helped them gain leadership skills and connections with other FFA members.
