Day 4️⃣ of the Wisconsin FFA Convention! (6/18)
⭐AWARDS ⭐
▪Jo received our Chapter's GOLD National Chapter Award, which is being submitted to Nationals!
▪Ellie and Corah both WON their respective Ag Artwork divisions!

🎊ACTIVITIES🎊
▪Kasen and Aden were the Confetti Crew! They waited patiently under the Convention Stage for the right time to add a little extra celebration to any award or announcement!
▪Many of our members participated in Courtesy Corp throughout the week. They helped around the convention by checking wristbands into the session hall and providing extra support during the Delegate Business Session.

Day 3️⃣ of the Wisconsin FFA Convention (6/17) 🎶🎶

Aaron practiced with the State FFA Honors Jazz Band Tuesday night and had TWO Improv solos Wednesday morning on his Clarinet before the opening of the Expo! Take a listen to this talent!

⭐AWARDS ⭐
▪Kasen & Addison received their Wisconsin FFA Degree - CONGRATULATIONS!
▪ Marren and Corah were recognized on the Spotlight Stage as Foundational SAE Stars!
▪ Zoey received our Chapter's Food for America Award, which recognizes our chapter's Agricultural Literacy Program.

🎫ACTIVITIES💰
▪ From participating in the expo, serving as Courtesy Corp members, and helping around convention, we made $20,165 in FFA Bucks and spent them on Dots Pretzels at the FFA Dance.
▪ We helped clean-up the session hall to get ready for the Thursday morning session and HAD to take a photo with the giant gavel!

Day 2️⃣ of the Wisconsin FFA Convention (6/16) - BUSY DAY!

⭐AWARDS & COMPETITIONS⭐
▪Jo received the State Three-Star Leader Award for her leadership displayed within the chapter.
▪Blake finished 5TH OVERALL in the Beef Production - Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award
▪Aden finished 4TH OVERALL in the Forest Products & Management Proficiency Award
▪Blake competed in the STATE Employment Skills Competition for the second year in a row!

🎤ACTIVITIES🇺🇸
▪Marren carried the Chapter Flag during Opening Ceremonies and actually stood right behind the National Anthem Singer!
▪We listened to welcoming remarks from Governor Tony Evers.
▪Blake and Aden set-up and answered questions about their Proficiency Displays.
▪Aaron made his first debut as a member of the State FFA Honors Band
▪Corah, Ruthie, Finley, and Ellie met Hailey James before her concert on Tuesday Night!

Day 1️⃣ of the Wisconsin FFA Convention (6/15)

12 Portage FFA Members with Mrs. Huber and Mrs. Babcock traveled to the Alliant Energy Center in Madison for the 97th Wisconsin FFA Convention. We helped package over 103,000 meals for Meals for the Heartland. That evening we listened to the reflections program hosted by the WI FFA State Officers about Activating our leadership, service, courage, and purpose.

Our members enjoyed opening night at the Madison Mallards and even participated in the between-inning activities!
