Whew! That was a BUSY week! We had banquets, events, and SO MANY good memories made!

Let's start with the Fox Valley banquet!!

We had a FANTASTIC TURNOUT, and forgot to take pictures of the actual event! 😅

We are 36 days away from the start of fall turkey season, and banquets are starting to ramp back up!

Last night, the Mississippi Valley Gobblers-National Wild Turkey Federation held their inaugural banquet in LaCrosse!

They had a fantastic turnout for a first time banquet! We are going to have to work on the media content though 😉

Tonight, the Central WI Struttin' Toms have their banquet in Plover!

🎓 Congratulations to our 2026 Wisconsin NWTF State Scholarship winners!

🥇 1st Place – Trevor Hoewisch, Waupaca Longbeards Chapter — $2,000 scholarship

🥈 2nd Place – Sam Kramer, Bluff Country Long Spurs Chapter — $1,000 scholarship

Trevor and Sam were selected from an outstanding pool of scholarship recipients submitted by NWTF chapters from across Wisconsin. Applicants are evaluated based on academics, leadership, community involvement, and their student essay. The 2026 scholarship pool was full of talented young people, and we’re proud to invest in the education of these future leaders of conservation!

We'd also like to recognize our local chapter scholarship winners, including Luke Verch, the very first scholarship recipient from the Summit Ridge Gobblers Chapter, and McKenzie Uniewski from the Gateway Gobblers Chapter.

Congratulations to Trevor, Sam, McKenzie, Luke, and all of this year's local scholarship recipients across Wisconsin!

All seed offered through the Seed Subsidy program is certified fresh and will be delivered directly to the member’s door.

Seed purchased through NWTF will result in acres being attributed to your state's total accomplishments.
