Tomorrow’s delivery is locked, loaded, and ready to roll! ❤️

Menu:
*Chicken
*Roasted mashed carrots with brown sugar and butter
*Rice
*Chocolate strawberry filled cupcakes with buttercream frosting.

Our amazing volunteers spent the day whipping up meals, and we’re gearing up to deliver approximately 185 meals throughout Port Townsend and the Tri Area.

That’s a lot of meals, a lot of kindness, and probably a lot of dishwashing! By the way, if anyone out there would like to get your hands soapy on a Friday afternoon, hit the volunteer link at the bottom.

Beautiful day for a little cookin’ outside at the ROK☀️

The fried fish sandwiches came out yummy and the volunteers were busy putting it all together!

Shout out to Nancy for the yummy quiche she made for Discovery Senior Center! They loved it. 🥧

Thursday prep day was a breeze with our new 10 burner commercial range! We were able to cut our cook time by 50%!

The greenhouse is doing great too — lots of fresh herbs and strawberries coming in! 🍓🌿

Thomas is back this week making our famous bread pudding, and we know our neighbors are going to love it.

Rain or shine, we’re out there loving on our neighbors! 🌧️❤️

Big things happening at the ROK this week!

We installed our new 10-burner commercial range, and all set to serve our community meals. This is going to help us cook more efficiently as the need continues to grow.

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of East Jefferson County for the generous grant support that made this possible. Your partnership helps us continue serving hot, homemade meals to our neighbors in need every week. ❤️

🚗 Volunteers Needed – Senior Food Box Delivery

We’re looking for caring volunteers to help deliver food boxes to senior citizens in our community that are not participating in the local food bank program throughout Port Townsend and surrounding areas on Sundays.

A little bit of your time can make a huge difference to someone who may not be able to get out easily. ❤️

Another fun week at the ROK! ❤️
We reached a lot of our neighbors this week — over 90 meals served!

This week’s menu included:
🍝 Pasta with hearty meaty red sauce
🦃 Turkey & gravy over mashed potatoes
🥖 Homemade dinner rolls
🍎 Fresh baked apple cinnamon rolls

We also welcomed a couple of new volunteers to the kitchen this week!

So much fun in the kitchen and so much love going out into the community. 🫶
