Today, our PTSA board had such a great time at the Volusia County Council PTA Welcome Back Breakfast! ❤️🖤

We got to hear some amazing motivational speakers, celebrate some awesome PTA units as they received awards, enjoy a delicious breakfast catered by C’s Waffles and served by local high school students, and learn some new things along the way!

It was such a fun morning getting to connect with other PTA leaders from across Volusia County and kick off another great school year together. We’re excited to bring some of that energy back to Silver Sands! 🏹❤️🖤

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers who helped get all of these snack baskets prepped and ready to go! ❤️🖤

Tomorrow morning, teachers will be able to grab a basket for their classrooms so that every student at Silver Sands Middle School can enjoy a snack after completing state testing. 📝🍪

This took a lot of hands, donations, organizing, and teamwork to make happen, and we are so grateful for everyone who helped us take care of our Warriors! 🫶

❤️🖤 CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! 🖤❤️

We’re looking for a few amazing volunteers to help us pack snacks for our Silver Sands Warriors!

Last year, our PTSA started a tradition of providing each and every student with a snack after all of their hard work on testing days, and we’re excited to continue that tradition this year! But we need YOUR help to make it happen!

We’ll be packing 60 baskets (x2) full of snacks and getting them ready to go for our Warriors the following day.

Silver Sands is ready for testing week! ❤️🖤

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community members, 300 testing snacks were donated, allowing Silver Sands PTSA to purchase the remaining 2,000 snacks needed for our two days of state testing this week.

Because of this incredible support, every Silver Sands Middle School student will receive a snack after completing their state testing. 🙌

We are so grateful to our families, community members, and local supporters who continue to show up for our Warriors. Your generosity helps us make a direct impact on our students, and we truly appreciate you! 🫶
