These beauties are at pet Supermarket today, Friday until about 6:30 PM a little preview of who will be there tomorrow for our pop-up Kitten Cafe

If you are interested, In Adopting?, we prefer they go home and pairs, but we will look at any application. Please submit your application and please take the time to fill it out completely.

As the Bogo sale at Publix came to a close we are well stocked with both our laundry detergent and with our dry food. You, our followers and our friends our supporters, keep us going when everything is budgetarily quite tight. Thank you so much for your ongoing and enthusiastic support. We are beyond grateful.

They just keep on coming……

I got a message Sunday night on messenger I am not exactly sure what the person wanted me to do. They said they found 4- one week old babies and had no supplies no way to keep them warm and no transportation. When I replied with some guidance and that I would take them if they could be brought to me, the person said they had found someone up near Belair Plaza, who had all the supplies necessary.

This morning around 10:30 AM I got a message from that someone who has 4 1week old babies and can’t get them to eat. Can’t get supplies here for another day or so from Amazon and feels very out of her element trying to care for these
Huge props to this woman for reaching out, doing everything she knew how to do, and getting them into the rescue.

Facts…
These babies are less than five days old
They were brought to me around 130 this afternoon
They’ve not eaten in 24 hours
They were found in the rain and wind storms of yesterday
And they may may not live
They all are under 3 ounces
And they’re all black or black-and-white, which is the least appealing color combinations for the general public adopting cats and kittens, regardless of personality

So they’re here and they are eating and they’re very quiet and very tiny right now and I don’t know what’s gonna happen but I would really like to not get any more of these messages and I would really like to not get them 24 hours after I already answered the message because that sets them back from survival potential by a full day

Please do everything you can to learn about spay and neuter and do anything you can especially if you’re someone with tremendous resources to orchestrate and organize the process of taking care of your neighborhood and your community.

We cannot wait for law-enforcement. We cannot wait for city council. We cannot wait for people who don’t care -if you’re someone who cares just step in and start the action process.

I will not be sleeping more than three hours at a time right now but they’re here so I’m gonna try

Ohhhhhh. I was so focused on the Kitten food and the urinary track food that I didn’t even notice that our laundry detergent is also on sale!

Even though it’s a small container, it’s a better deal than buying any of the large ones. So if anybody is wanting to help us with the gazillion of laundry loads that we do every day these are Bogo at Publix. Also thank you all so much and thanks for the food. It’s been flowing in and I’m very very grateful.@
