Silver Sands Middle FFA Member had a very busy 2 weeks at the 2026 Central Florida Fair! Congratulations to all their hard work and dedication!

Suvi Huffstutler: 4th place in class, 2nd place Intermediate Skill-A-Thon winner

Week 2 Market Week

Ava Bisch: Reserve Champion Intermediate Exhibitor, 8th overall intermediate showman, 1st place Intermediate Skill-A-Thon winner, 1st in class

Avery Greathouse: 2nd place Intermediate Skill-A-Thon winner, 3rd in class

Clementine Shields: 2nd in class

All Member were Blue Ribbon Record Books!

Silver Sands Middle FFA officer started National FFA Week off with feeding our amazing teachers and staff on campus. We want to give a big shout out to all the amazing restaurants that donated for this meal along with Mr. Wilkins for cooking all the meat for it. Thank you to Ms. Jolina for calling all the restaurants that donated for this event! They had a great time and we can’t wait for what the rest of the week has in store. Thank you all again for your amazing support to our program and helping us make teachers and staff day by showing just a little bit of how much we appreciate them and all of their hard work.

Another great night at the 80th annual Volusia County Fair. Silver Sands Middle FFA Chapter had 3 kids compete in the Market swine show and all 3 did an outstanding job!
